EMMY-AWARD WINNING PRODUCER - Vanessa “Max” Russell is a seasoned television producer and former general assignment TV news reporter; having worked in broadcast markets in both Florida and Georgia. “Max”, as she was affectionately known, was also the other half of the Mike and Max Morning Show, a nationally syndicated radio broadcast on the Sheridan Gospel Network. Her duties as co-host of the morning show involved extensive travel throughout the country as a motivational speaker, ministering to single women; as well as Assistant Program director of the Network. Before starting her own television production company -- LMR MEDIA; Vanessa served as Supervising Producer & Special Projects Producer of the Emmy award-winning international broadcast of "Taking Authority". She helped lead the broadcast team to its first Emmy with her production of a documentary entitled, "The New Face of Homelessness". Another documentary that she produced on domestic violence in the church was also nominated for an Emmy.
Vanessa has won numerous awards for excellence in broadcasting, including an Emmy, an Emmy nomination, World Media Award and Silver Medalist in the New York Film Festival, as well as several Telly, Aurora, Axiem and Communicator awards. Other career highlights include:

• Political correspondent covering the Re-election Campaign of President William J. Clinton.
• An exclusive interview with Evangelist Jim Bakker after his release from prison; and interviews with Nelson Mandela’s daughter, Maki; and former Miss America Debbye Turner.
• Correspondent covering the 1997 Million Woman March in Philadelphia.
• Education correspondent for actress Jane Fonda’s Georgia Campaign Against Adolescent Pregnancy.
• A 2-week live remote in South Africa in 2000, where she reported on the transformation of South Africa post-apartheid.

VIDEOGRAPHER/ EDITOR -Eugene Russell is a veteran newsperson, with 20 years of experience as a Photojournalist. In his career, he’s covered many news headliners like: 9-11 coverage in our nation’s capitol; the 2000 Election Recount Mayhem; LA riots, Central Florida Wildfires, NASA initiatives, and numerous stories in all sporting venues (NBA, NFL, Major League and NASCAR). He's also produced and promoted two gospel extravaganzas in California; and conducted interviews with dozens of celebrities --including BB King, Natalie Cole, Crystal Lewis, BeBe & CeCe Winans, and Prince.

Vanessa was born in Bartow, Florida and raised in Lake Wales, Florida. She attended the University of South Florida in Tampa on a full 4-year academic scholarship and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication with a concentration in Journalism.

Eugene was born in Athens, Georgia and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. He attended the School of Performing Arts and the Music Institute in Atlanta. He was also a member of the U.S. Army Reserve. He currently works as a News Photographer at WTTG – FOX 5 in Washington, D.C. The couple currently resides in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
